Zeiss Innovation Center is a new, three story 208,650 square foot commercial building built with 1,335 tons of steel. This new structure is designed to foster tech innovation and includes an engineering lab, clean spaces (not ISO certified), production space, R&D facilities, light manufacturing, a warehouse, showroom, and other supporting facilities.
At the second, third and roof levels there were approximately 12’ cantilevered beams at all perimeter columns that required the field crew to verify tip up elevations and complete specific bolt up and welding sequencing to ensure proper elevations once completed.
