The new West County Behavioral Health Center building is a two-story, 20,700 square foot building that supplements the existing Behavioral Health Services facility, providing health services for Contra Costa County. It has a stand-alone walk way connecting to the existing Health Center building, and required 175 tons of steel to be erected and installed. The project utilized the patented SidePlate connection at all beam-to-column connection points.
